Following a deep friendship that began when the two met while Annie was on staff at Nimblefingers Old-Time and Bluegrass Camp, Annie has recently partnered with Canadian songbird Tracy Lynn in a sassy woman-to-woman tell all series of tours in Canada and the “lower 48”.
The duo’s drill-it-to-the wall vocals and powerful sincerity blended with just the right amount of saucy “been there done that” wisdom has been the perfect project at the perfect time for both women.
In the spirit of providing a high quality music offering that fits any budget, Traveling light as a band is what the duo provides. That leaves plenty of room in the back of the truck for a stray child/grandchild or 6 pairs of cowgirl boots.
When a band is called for, the gals team up with members of the Savage Hearts and can be a 2-6 piece project depending on the budget and venue.
Currently, they have been sharing their story of surrender to God (or “Gawd” depending on the locale) and have teamed up to record a gospel album late this summer, to be released at the International Bluegrass Music Association’s annual showcase performances in Raleigh, NC.
